Cologne

Today we went on a guided walking tour of Cologne, the cathedral is just amazing, I couldn't stop looking at the architecture. After the tour was a free beer tasting in a Baufhausen.

Bamberg

The building in the middle of the river is the town hall, the Prince Bishop of the region would not allow the people to build on his land, they found a way to get around this by building it in the river as no one owns the river, clever and it is a stunning building.

Nuremburg

Nuremburg where the war crimes trials took place after WW2 is a city rich with history, so sad to see photos of the devastion done to Nuremburg during the bombings, there is still a small part of the medieval town left but 98% of the city was destroyed.
