Bamberg

The building in the middle of the river is the town hall, the Prince Bishop of the region would not allow the people to build on his land, they found a way to get around this by building it in the river as no one owns the river, clever and it is a stunning building.

Nuremburg

Nuremburg where the war crimes trials took place after WW2 is a city rich with history, so sad to see photos of the devastion done to Nuremburg during the bombings, there is still a small part of the medieval town left but 98% of the city was destroyed.

Regensburg

The little green building is the oldest restaurant in the world, has continuously been a restaurant for 800 years. Like all the towns we are seeing Regensburg doesnt disappoint with the beautiful old buildings

Melk & Durnstein

Austria

The sheer opulence in the abbey church is really quite vulgar, no wonder the peasants revolted against the Prince Bishop of the region, he certainly had the best of everything
